Welcome to the Southwest Vintage Camper Association.

We are a group of vintage camper enthusiasts based in New Mexico and Colorado, with members all over the Southwest and beyond.  We were formed in November of 2003 as a focus point for anybody in the area that is interested in the hobby of collecting, restoring, displaying, and most of all camping in vintage campers.  We consider vintage to be trailers manufactured before 1970, but do include those later that have the same "style" as the earlier models.  Those of us that have formed this association are long time vintage and classic car collectors that have discovered vintage trailers as a great extension of our car hobby.  Belonging to various car clubs in the area we found the car hobby has a great network of events and activities, something previously missing for trailer fans in the area...so here we are!

Our goal is to simply share a common interest and to provide a network of information to vintage camper fans .  At this time we are not a formal "club"...  in other words  no dues, meetings or officers,  however that may change if there is enough interest in this rapidly growing hobby.   We plan and attend area trailer events and "trailer friendly" car shows as a group, and we hosted our first event, The Trailer Trash Bash in August, 2004.  Besides the Bash (watch for the tenth annual in August of 2013) we hold the Colorado Classic Campout in June.

Interested in joining us?  All we need is your name and contact information (link below), as well as information on your vintage camper.  We accept all types of pre-1975 style vintage campers, from little teardrops to motor homes, and everything in between.  While not a requirement, include any information on your classic tow vehicle as well if you have one.
