Steaming to Chama Rally
The TRAINS
One of Chama's biggest attractions is the Cumbres & Toltec narrow gauge train. Several of us went into town to check them out, some campers went for a ride.
We happen to be in Chama when they were running the Galloping Goose. The Goose is a restored bus conversion to run on train tracks, built in the 1930's when they did not have enough passengers to use the whole train. It was a very interesting piece of history.
